Supervisory Committee Member (volunteer) The Board of Directors for Weber State Credit Union is currently seeking a member to serve on the credit union’s Supervisory Committee.  Terms for Supervisory Committee members are for two years.  The committee, comprised of volunteer members, is responsible for ensuring that the Board of Directors and the management of Weber State Credit Union meet required financial reporting objectives and establish practices and procedures sufficient to safeguard members’ assets. Members of the Supervisory Committee attend monthly meetings to review member shares, loans, and internal controls to ensure compliance with federal regulations and credit union policy. The Supervisory Committee also commissions an annual opinion audit of the credit union through a CPA firm.  Candidates for the Supervisory Committee must be at least 18 years of age, have an account in good standing, and be bondable through the credit union’s fidelity bond company.
